Uncovering the past today in this abandoned, historic African American cemetery. We found and cleaned grave markers and removed brush. Like emptying the ocean with a coffee cup, there is much work to do as a total of almost 80 acres of graves need clearing and maintenance. It is a worthy effort and I plan to continue volunteering.
